Select from several modes to control the U-boat.
Fighter/Heavy Bomber
Use the joystick to move the plane left and right, and the mouse to aim and fire the plane’s machine guns. To get more height, hover the plane. To drop the bombs, push the button.
Planetary Mining/Babysitting
There’s work to be done in this mode. Build a factory, a landing strip, and docks. Then assign workers to build and move ships, load cargo, and drop cargo.
Submarine
In Submarine mode, control the U-boat from the perspective of the captain. The submarine is a controllable, fully destructible ship. You must protect the U-boat, repair the U-boat, and destroy the Allied Forces with the submarine.
Overall, this is a quality simulation of a submarine, although you will need to get a premium upgrade to play for long. It is definitely fun, though, and worth a shot.Second generation cephalosporins in the treatment of complicated intra-abdominal infections.
There has been a dramatic increase in the incidence of infection and morbidity due to community-acquired intra-abdominal infections (IAIs). The earlier recognition of IAIs, improved diagnostic techniques, a greater number of surgical procedures, and a more aggressive surgical approach have contributed to the overall increase. Despite this, the mortality rate for IAIs has remained stable in the past 3 decades. Appropriate empirical therapy must be initiated early for the treatment of community-acquired IAIs. Antibiotics with activity against gram-positive organisms such as cephalosporins, penicillins, and aminoglycosides are most commonly used in the empiric therapy of complicated IAIs. This review focuses on the use of second generation cephalosporins in the treatment of community-acquired complicated IAIs.In May 2011, the writer and critic Brian Morton published a slim and impressionistic book called The Dark Night of the Soul.
